Last night, or perhaps today depending on your time zone, HoYoverse unveiled the Season 2 update for the free-to-play action RPG Zenless Zone Zero. This new season not only continues the game’s storyline in an exciting new location but also celebrates its first anniversary. To mark the occasion, HoYo is providing players with a plethora of free items, including a complimentary S-Rank Agent and an S-Rank W-engine of their choice, with six options available for each. Players should choose wisely! Additionally, those who complete specific tasks within the update will earn 1,600 Polychromes and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes.
The update itself sees Wise and Bell journeying to the Waifei Peninsula, where they will disguise themselves as pupils of the enigmatic Yixuan from Ynkui Summit while undertaking a mission from the mayor of New Eridu. However, their student status is not entirely a façade, as the siblings will be honing their newfound abilities as well.
Another significant addition with this update is the launch of the Xbox Series X|S version. The game is also accessible through Xbox Cloud Gaming, so if you’ve been eager to play ZZZ on your Xbox console, the moment has arrived!
