World of Warships: Temporal Rift Event & Black Friday Content!

Wargaming has unveiled a series of exciting updates for World of Warships! Players can dive into the limited-time Temporal Rift event in the free-to-play shooter, available until December 11th. This event introduces two innovative battle types: Shattered Time and Rift Watch. In each, nine-player teams will engage in intense combat against waves of AI opponents across expansive maps.

During the Temporal Rift event, players will command a fleet of rental ships. These ships are equipped with upgradable technology, respawn capabilities, Heavy Explosive shells, and powerful missiles, offering a unique and dynamic gameplay experience.

Specifically, Shattered Time challenges players to capture heavily fortified bases, demanding strategic coordination and tactical prowess. Rift Watch, conversely, tasks teams with fiercely defending their base against relentless attackers. These modes will alternate every two weeks, providing varied gameplay opportunities, and are slated to rotate together in future updates.

Prepare for Black Friday with a jam-packed event! Expect a dual-track Event Pass, all-new missions, the return of popular ships, and the debut of several stunning Black-edition vessels. These include the Tier X American cruiser Puerto Rico B, the battleship Rhode Island B, the Tier IX Soviet destroyer Neustrashimy B, the Tier IX Pan-European battleship Karl XIV Johan B, and the Tier VIII German cruiser Schill B. The Event Pass, available until November 27th, grants access to up to two commanders, 18 containers, and three premium containers.

Beyond the Black Friday festivities, ongoing content includes the continued Dockyard construction of Lüshun B, the Liberty Harbor chain awarding the Tier VIII cruiser Bridgeport, and daily rewards associated with the game’s 10th Anniversary Grand Voyage event.

Over in World of Warships: Legends, prepare for black variants of Sims, Alabama, München, Graf Zeppelin, and Brisbane, obtainable through Black Friday 2025 crates. These crates are available through missions, a dedicated campaign, Brawl rewards, and in-game store bundles. A new line of French alternate destroyers is also entering Early Access, boasting incendiary torpedoes that gain speed and fire-starting chance over distance. These ships can be unlocked via Early Access crates and come with personal missions, running until January 19th, that award doubloons.

Legends also features the four-week Phantom of Sherwood campaign, boasting 80 milestones and rewards, including the coveted Tier VII British cruiser Nottingham. Finally, players can earn parts during the second phase of the “Road to New Year” marathon to acquire the Tier VI Pan-European battleship Lugdunum, complete with a unique winter skin, launching December 1st with the Christmas update.
