Wayfinder Intensifies Nightmare with New Mode, Additional Save Slots and Holiday Events

The future of Wayfinder may not be crystal clear but the Airship Syndicate team continues to deliver on all their commitments to fans. Although the Xbox introduction might be happening a bit later than initially planned, the Echoes update has made the game less like an MMO and the following PlayStation 5 update release has served the game well initially.

The team is delivering again on their commitments today with Quality of Life Update 3, which introduces the Nightmare difficulty mode, extends save slots, and incorporates several enhancements.

Avid gamers searching for fresh challenges might consider creating a saved file in Nightmare difficulty. Do note that this setting cannot be modified once engaged, hence caution is advised. Besides enhancing in-game difficulty, this mode also provides unique one-time Nightmare trials and rewards that span across accounts.

In order to accommodate Nightmare mode, the game now offers 4 save slots for user profiles.

The in-game holiday occasion, Eventide, is bundled with the patch and includes rewards from the previous year. This content remains accessible indefinitely in the future.
