Warframe Teases 2025 Update and 2026 Content Plans

TennoCon has come and gone once again, providing Warframe enthusiasts with new insights into the future of the game. During this event, Digital Extremes showcased upcoming developments for the free-to-play MMO shooter.

Although we are still in the middle of 2025, DE has begun hinting at next year’s content and revealed exciting updates for the near future as well as beyond. One key highlight is “The Old Peace,” which unfolds during a moment of unification between the Sentients and Orokin—existing within the memories of the players. Gamers will have to navigate the ensuing conflict, but fortunately, they will receive support from the Sentient Adis. Players can anticipate this content later this year, complete with a teaser, a music video, and 23 minutes of gameplay that can be viewed below.

Furthermore, the development team is already planning for next year, alluding to an expedition to the Tau system. However, there is still the forthcoming “Unannounced” update slated for release in the fall, which will debut prior to The Old Peace. Detailed information about this update is limited, as the dev team intends to disclose more in September. (I understand—it feels like a wait!)
