Indeed, there’s still some time left for the eagerly awaited 1999 update of Warframe launching this winter, yet that does not imply Tenno will be idle till then. Today, on all platforms, The Lotus starts the prelude, beckoning the players of the looter-shooter. Set immediately after the “Whispers in the Walls” storyline, today’s update has The Lotus requesting your help to explore a peculiar sound related to the year 1999 and the upcoming quest to locate Albrecht Entrati before the enemies do.
For those in search of fresh loot, the TennoGen Jade Shadows kit is now available in the Marketplace. If you find it appealing, do remember that a portion of the revenue, 30% specifically, derived from sales is allocated to the community artists who design the equipment.
In addition, Sevagoth Prime makes an entrance into the game. For those fans of instant rewards, the Prime variations of the frame and weapons can be purchased straight off the market. Or, as is the usual routine, they can also be secured through game play.
In case you didn’t catch it, we have a video featuring gameplay from 1999 exhibited at TennoCon.
