An MMO without guilds feels incomplete, as anyone who has tried an early build lacking this crucial social feature can attest. Thankfully, fans of the virtual reality MMO Ilysia no longer have to endure this frustration. With Patch 0.4.2 released this week, guilds are now a part of the game.
“Guilds have arrived in Ilysia,” the developers announced. “The new guild system features custom roles, permissions, private guild chat, and sets the stage for upcoming guild XP and skills!”
Additionally, this week’s update brought a significant overhaul to the armor system. Shields now recharge faster, armor scales with player power, and “heavy armor now functions as intended.” Players can also explore the new shield bash technique and experience the revamped XP and loot system, which introduces mob tagging, improved XP rewards, and grouped loot rights.
