[Upcoming event] The Game Awards December 2025

The Game Awards honour outstanding creative and technical achievements in the worldwide video game industry.

Held annually at Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, The Game Awards is a vibrant celebration of the exceptional accomplishments and individuals contributing to the gaming industry. Despite a turbulent period in the recent past, the event witnessed record attendance in 2024, acknowledging the tireless efforts and resilience of many skilled developers.

The 2024 show has recently concluded (as per this publishing), where Geoff Keighley declared that the next Game Awards would return to Los Angeles on December 11, 2025.

Quoting The Game Awards: We assemble a diverse cohort of game developers, game enthusiasts, and prominent figures from popular culture to acknowledge and enhance gaming’s stature as the most engaging, demanding, and motivating form of entertainment. Our aim is to commend individuals contributing to the community’s wellbeing and elevate the voices representing the medium’s future.
