The 2025 Serious Play Conference serves as a leadership forum for professionals involved in the exploration of game-based learning. These individuals share their experiences and collectively contribute to the future of training and education. Established in 2009, the conference was the brainchild of Sue Bohle: a PR and marketing trailblazer who contributed to Atari, the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and the Penny Arcade Expos (PAX). She was inspired to endorse a mathematics learning game. Having been a high school educator earlier in her career, she was captivated by the thought of harnessing the engaging aspects of entertainment games as a tool to enhance education.
