Initially established in 1996, QuakeCon has developed from a simple meet-up of Quake and id Software enthusiasts to being one of the most renowned gaming festivals, featuring a grand BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party. Annually, over 10,000 gaming aficionados come to Dallas, TX, to enjoy an array of activities – from presentations, tournaments and panels, to exhibits and exclusive sneak previews of Bethesda’s upcoming game releases and announcements. QuakeCon, while centered around the passion for gaming and camaraderie, also promotes philanthropy by providing attendees the chance to donate and support various charitable causes via partnerships.
