Message from Games for Change: “We extend an invitation to you to join us on June 26-27, at the Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York City. Our theme for the 2025 Games for Change Festival is “Designing for Tomorrow”. Leveraging design and innovation for a purpose, we plan to unite a diverse group of people, right from seasoned experts in the field to the next batch of innovators. The goal is to delve deep into the potential of games and Extended Reality (XR) in breaking barriers of age, outlook, and industrial sectors. Through the celebration of collaborative design and game-based interaction, we aim to showcase how entertainment can have a tangible impact in vital domains such as education, health, sustainability, and many others.”

Since its initiation in 2004, Games for Change (G4C) has equipped game designers and innovators with the tools to foster tangible change in the real world, by using games and immersive media to educate, uplift communities, and work towards building a better world. Teaming up with firms in technology and gaming, nonprofits, government agencies, and foundations, G4C organizes world-class events, public arcades, youth programs, and design challenges. G4C nurtures a worldwide community of developers who are using games to address real-world issues, ranging from climate alteration and education to humanitarian discord.
