The CEEGS 2023 conference, representing Central and Eastern European Game Studies, is an annual gathering that focuses on the study and exploration of digital and analog games, their cultural implications, societal impacts, players, and creators.
The goal of CEEGS is to enhance game research in Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic regions, while elevating the visibility of the game studies community in these areas. Moreover, CEEGS welcomes participants from all over the world, and has seen presenters from over 30 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia since its first event in 2014 in Brno, Czech Republic. The conference aims to provide a platform that embraces both upcoming academics and experienced scholars.
