BitSummit was established towards the end of 2012 with the primary objective being to offer independent Japanese game developers an opportunity to showcase their games to a global audience. From a small industry-only gathering of approximately 200 attendees in 2013, we have evolved into a groundbreaking festival that attracted more than 11,000 attendees in 2018. This growth has been supported by keynotes delivered by esteemed professionals from the industry such as Shuhei Yoshida (Sony Interactive Entertainment), Suehiro Tanaka (White Owls), Atsushi Inaba & Hideki Kamia (Platinum Games), and Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Enhance Games).
