This morning, HoYoverse unveiled the Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Special Program. This update, titled “A Space and Time for You”, advances the narrative of the twins as events start to intertwine. Dainslief returns, with the denizens of the Abyss seemingly targeting Natlan once again. Meanwhile, the Fatui are enacting their own schemes, leading the Traveler to cross paths with Childe’s master, Skirk. Additionally, the Hexenzirkel appears to have a greater role in the unfolding events, particularly hinted at by the teaser for Nod-Krai featuring Alice.
With Version 5.7, two new playable characters will be introduced. The first is Skirk, who uniquely draws power from the Abyss rather than possessing a Vision. The other character, Dahlia, was previously encountered in the last update and serves as Barbados’ herald and the Deacon in Mondstadt.
Besides the main storyline, Version 5.7 will also launch another round of the Traveler’s Tales in the action RPG. Players should keep an eye out for these. During the livestream, it was hinted that the developers are considering making these events permanent in the future. Fingers crossed!
