Fan expos and convention events typically offer a lively and fun-filled experience. Annually, I participate in several but have yet to take part in an online one, which I believe must present a different dynamic. Regardless, the premise remains – gatherings hosted for enthusiasts of certain hobbies to enjoy showcased materials, why shouldn’t a virtual expo be any different?
Today, Star Citizen alongside Squadron 42 kick start the IAE (Intergalactic Aerospace Expo). All leading manufacturers from across the universe would love for you to drop in and explore their latest game creations. Immerse yourself in a “Free Fly” event that boasts over 150 ships for you to experiment with or revisit an old favourite; whether you’re a first-time pilot or simply curious.
The event has kick-started today and will continue till the 5th of December.
In addition to the main event, the IAE Academy is hosting elementary survival training missions in space and within your spaceship.
If you have already explored everything, consider checking out the RSI Polaris. This corvette-class vessel has been featured in previous fly-bys and is now available for production; feel free to take this one (and three other new ships) for a test flight.
