The anime Tokyo Ghoul may feature Ken Kaneki as the main character, however in the unique world of asymmetric horror gaming – Dead By Daylight, Kaneki’s sinister side is promoted through the newest character addition; The Ghoul. This new partnership will start testing on the Steam public server today, with an official release date set for April 2nd.
In Dead By Daylight, Kaneki’s original anime backstory remains, but will feature new elements designed specifically for the game. Besides using his tentacles as weapons, Ken’s skillset focuses on power boosting and chasing down escapees, making the game more intense. According to a press release, the depiction of each victim’s demise will be shockingly graphic.
When the full version becomes available, a range of Tokyo Ghoul merchandise can be purchased.
Despite Behaviour Interactive’s announcement that Dead By Daylight will not receive content updates due to the team working on addressing long-standing player complaints, this new addition provides a bit of excitement for the players.
