Tibia shocked its community by unveiling its first new class in 25 years with the arrival of the Monk. Following the class’s debut playtest, CipSoft has reported that the Monk performed exceptionally well during its initial preview.
“The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive, with players praising its unique and enjoyable gameplay,” said project manager Niadus in a press release. “While some adjustments are still needed, the first tests have demonstrated a vocation that not only introduces fresh opportunities for players but also remains faithful to the essence of Tibia.”
The class is set to undergo a second round of player testing from Tuesday, March 18th, to Tuesday, March 25th. Subscribers to the game will gain access to the updated version of the class on the 18th, while other players will have to wait until the 24th to experience it. The Monk is expected to fully launch in the second quarter of this year. Meanwhile, CipSoft has been releasing a series of developer blogs about the class, with the latest one discussing its visual style and aesthetics.
