This Week’s Season 8 Launch: Warcraft Rumble Introduces New Unit and Scholomance Dungeon

Get ready for some fun with Scholomantic! Sure, it may not be a real word, but it’s the perfect description for the newest feature in Warcraft Rumble. The game now includes a new troop and has also unlocked the Scholomance dungeon with the recent launch of Season 8.

The Scholomance dungeon boasts three arenas and has three bosses that players must defeat – Jandice Barov, an illusion master; Rattlegore, a combination of bone and metal; and Darkmaster Gandling, a deceptive and necromancy-using mage.

The new troop introduced is the Dryad, a member of the Cenarion Troop known for her ability to poison and trap her enemies. As per our previous update, this unit is not available for usage on the GRID until Season 9. However, she can be accessed through PvP or procurement; though, the opportunity to get her from the guild warchest was revoked last week.

Season 8 also offers a new events calendar, a selection of new emotes, and two new GRID override options. It’s the perfect time to experience the Scholomantic fun. Yes, we know that’s not an actual word, but we love it nonetheless!
