This week, Diablo IV’s Halloween event challenges you to a meat or treat showdown

Pondering where to enjoy a virtual Halloween? Why not consider Diablo IV’s Sanctuary? Whether it’s the best location or not really depends on you. Either way, you’re welcome to visit and partake in the festivity described by Blizzard as “Meat or Treat.” This is part of their Macabre Celebration.

The event essentially combines two things. For one, logging in daily earns you awards from October 29th to November 1st. Two trophies, a mount, and mount armor are up for grabs. Additionally, while adventuring through dungeons, you may encounter random shrines that will either offer you rewards or set traps depending on your fortune.

The studio announced the event timetable, which is set to last from 10 a.m. on October 29th to 10 a.m. on November 5th, PT (or 1 p.m. EDT). Players are encouraged to login within this window to receive free cosmetic rewards and get a chance to partake in the “Meat or Treat” game at the nearest dungeon shrine.
