The term “Alpha Two” holds a significant status within the Ashes of Creation community as a long-anticipated and highly promoted objective from Intrepid Studios. Soon, in just two months, the true potential of Ashes of Creation will be disclosed as the NDA-free Alpha Two launches on October 25th.
Beginning with roughly 3,000 simultaneous users, the forthcoming alpha of this fantasy MMO plans to gradually increase to around 10,000 users. The developer declared on its latest weekly stream that the alpha testing will be conducted in three phases: the first stage of weekend testing commences on October 25th, followed by a five-day continuous server accessibility starting December 20th, and finally, a persistent 24/7 server by May 1st, 2025. Initially, Alpha Two will be hosted on three NA and three EU servers exhibiting a significantly enlarged construct from Alpha One.
Moreover, renowned composer Inon Zur has been assigned the task of composing the score for Ashes of Creation.
Despite some fans being delighted with this revelation, critics were quick to criticise the studio and probe into its alleged financial situation. Key contention points include the absence of a perpetual alpha till the coming spring and alpha access codes that vary in price between $100 to $120.
