The Open Beta for Throne & Liberty Starts on July 18, with Full Launch Scheduled for September 17

Amazon Games and NCSoft‘s latest MMORPG offering, Throne and Liberty, is entering Open Beta starting July 18th with the full game launching on PC and consoles on September 17. Even though the game didn’t make a huge impact in South Korea, Amazon Games sees potential for it in the Western market. It will be available to play for free like in its original market.

Key Characteristics of THRONE AND LIBERTY:

• Grand-Scale Combat: Large-scale battles are at the heart of the gameplay, with both PvE and PvP aspects embedding in a dynamic environment.
• Availability on Multiple Platforms: The game can be played by users on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S due to cross-platform play support.
• Open Testing Phase: An open beta period runs from July 18 to July 23, offering players early access on all available platforms and regions. Feedback from participants can influence further development of the game.
• Unique Gameplay: Players will experience a unique atmosphere in Solisium, a platform with dynamic weather that changes gameplay and terrain and gives players the chance to transform into different creatures for exploration and battle.
• Two-Weapon System: THRONE AND LIBERTY features a two-weapon system, providing players with combat flexibility without the need to switch characters.

The partnership between Amazon Games and NCSOFT aims to make THRONE AND LIBERTY appealing to global audiences, considering broad player feedback into its development. While the game has been available in South Korea for a while, updates on the design will accompany the worldwide release soon.
