The New World’s Southeast Asia Trial Begins in November

Gravity is gearing up to launch another Ragnarok title, Ragnarok: The New World. A Pilot Test will commence on November 7th, offering exclusive access to players in Southeast Asia (SEA). This test marks the initial phase for the new MMORPG, which aims to build upon the success of previous mobile iterations while introducing fresh features.

This new version brings back the classic class system, but with enhanced customization. Players can expect unique combinations of equipment, cards, and skills. Notably, the game will be the franchise’s first venture into a open world, providing expansive regions for players to explore. A core design philosophy is “Less Grind, Less Pay,” intended to reduce repetitive gameplay and make the experience more accessible.

Registration for the Pilot Test of Ragnarok: The New World opens on the Official Discord of the game on October 24th, with only 200 spots available for these “Pioneers.” The first selection round will take place on October 30th, followed by the final selection on November 5th. This project demonstrates Gravity’s continued strategy to expand and leverage the Ragnarok universe, keeping this iconic franchise alive and well.
