The forthcoming zone known as Siren Isle, which is part of World of Warcraft’s Patch 11.0.7, will present challenges and variations that players will have to adapt to. Clearly, Blizzard is planning for players to experience this zone differently from other areas in The War Within. Specifically, flying mounts will not be permitted on this island.
The island’s high winds restrict flying everywhere, not just certain places. It is unclear whether this restriction will be permanent or if there will be ways to surmount it, as suggested by some datamining. This will certainly create a good opportunity to showcase your best terrestrial mounts and make use of grappling hooks to access higher terrains.
Another interesting aspect of Siren Isle will be the repeatable missions, many of which award Bronze Celebration tokens and reputation increases for all main factions. This makes the island a prime location to grind for these rewards.
