The First Descendant Offers Increased Compensation as More Descendants Receive Trailers.

The game The First Descendant by Nexon hasn’t had a steady run since its release. The company had to distribute a few apologies in the form of in-game gifts less than a day post-launch and the compensations haven’t stopped there. I attempted to record some gameplay footage for our first look at the looter-shooter recently, but I faced severe connection issues. At first, the problem was attributed to MS server flaws, however, the game had to be suddenly taken offline for repairs.

Upon logging today, players can expect to find a few 30% boosts for gold, Kyper shards, and Descendant and Weapon proficiency in their in-game mailboxes. These enhancements will remain active for 3 days. However, they will automatically activate once claimed from the mailbox; it’s advisable to retrieve them when you’re ready to utilise them.

In other updates, this morning saw the unveiling of three additional trailer videos exhibiting three more Descendants. It’s unclear why these trailers weren’t made public prior to the game’s initiation, but they’re now available.

Among the newly introduced characters, Sharen specialises in stealth and surprise attacks, Blair employs fire and traps for a more aggressive strategy, and Kyle relies on magnetism to defend teammates and mitigate damage.

And now, I’m off to make another attempt at recording some gameplay.
