Mark your calendars! On October 1st, Nexon is rolling out a new update for The First Descendant. This update introduces sword weapons to the free-to-play shooter, alongside a suite of quality-of-life improvements. To give players a heads-up, the developers shared a brief post outlining three key improvements.
First up, the reactor weapon optimization conditions are being removed. This change aims to streamline weapon usage and improve accessibility for new players. All related menu items and functions will be removed as well.
Secondly, there are changes coming to the way amorphous material is opened. After the update, players will be able to open amorphous material either individually or continuously through NPCs located in Albion. Consequently, Reconstructed Devices, previously obtained from Void Intercept Battles and Void Fusion Reactors, will be removed.
Finally, the “Legion of Breach” will be added to the Laboratory Legion settings, and the maximum number of common monsters that can be summoned will be increased to 50.
