The Finals: Rushdown Event & Halloween Cosmetics Arrive!

Version 8.5.0 of The Finals has arrived, bringing a spooky Halloween atmosphere and exciting new competitive content to the game. The update marks the end of the Heaven or Else event and introduces the Rushdown World Tour Event, sponsored by HOLTOW. This limited-time mode spices things up by granting players five seconds of super speed for every opponent they eliminate, encouraging an aggressive and fast-paced playstyle.

To celebrate Halloween, the free-to-play shooter is also launching the Boo-tique. This shop will feature a rotating selection of both brand new and returning Halloween-themed cosmetic items for players to enjoy.

Beyond the new event and cosmetics, The Finals is also expanding its reach, officially welcoming players from Finland and Norway to the game’s supported regions.

The update also provides a sneak peek at five upcoming esports bundles, each representing a professional team partnered with an in-game sponsor. These bundles include Vanguard Gaming x DISSUN, Team Secret x IVADA, Gen.G x ENO+RINO, FNATIC x VAIIYA, and TSM x TRENTILA. They are scheduled to be released in advance of the DreamHack Stockholm Major on November 28th and 29th. While some console storefronts might show the bundles earlier, they will be officially unlocked within the game at a later date.
