RuneScape’s Christmas Village returns for 2024

The Christmas Village in RuneScape makes a comeback in 2024.

It appears that a substantial number of RuneScape players have been good this year, as a result, Papa Jagex is offering them access to the Christmas Village and not relegating them to the coal mines. Oh, didn’t you know Jagex owns a coal mine? Where else do you suppose their profits come from?

Anyway, the Christmas Village and associated event are all set to launch on December 2nd, providing a refreshing dose of Christmas cheer: “Join in the fun with all-new holiday activities, benefit from weekly buffs, and come across a sleigh filled with both new and old rewards. Be sure to pay Santa a visit for some delightful holiday gifts—and for those who’ve been extra good, perhaps even a coveted Black Partyhat will be yours.”

In other news, RuneScape’s patch on November 22nd introduced a greater quantity of wood sprites to the game, reduced the power of the Blood Reaver, and laid the groundwork for combat mastery achievements launching in 2025.
