Many of you may recall that the tactical card game Dfiance was meant to launch on Steam just three days ago, on July 21. If you were aware of this, you’ve likely noticed it didn’t occur. The launch has been postponed to August 4 after discussions among the developers.
Fortunately for eager players, the developers have introduced a temporary solution to keep them engaged until the game is fully ready for release on Valve’s platform. A pre-season version is now accessible to play in browsers, enabling players to test features prior to their debut on Steam. Additionally, the current demo version is still available on Steam until the official launch.
For those curious about the reasons for the delay, the developers have shared updates regarding the changes anticipated before the launch on the Steam page. The first announcement, and currently the only one so far, outlines adjustments to Ranked Seasons.
