‘Survivalbox Enshrouded Aims for Spring 2026 Release as Pact of the Flame Becomes Available’

Survival games apparently have an unwritten rule to launch in January, resulting in a host of game anniversaries in the same month. Enshrouded being one of such games, marks its early access anniversary this very week. In celebration, developer Keen Games has lined up a series of reveals, including the projected official game release in spring 2026.

According to the developers’ statement “Having almost accomplished its 2024 roadmap, Keen Games announces its innovative 2025 Early Access roadmap. They recall a surprisingly successful and satisfying first EA year. As players continue the game into 2025, they can anticipate new features such as a thematic event system portal to new worlds, island base raids, additional weather events, server teleportation, sharing worlds/builds with the community, a dynamic water implementing new biome and much more in multi-content updates to be released throughout the year. Besides, players can look forward to further Enshrouded amusement through community events, contests, and more surprises yet to be sprung as the game journeys towards its 1.0 launch.”

Meanwhile, the game’s fifth update, Pact of the Flame, has also been launched this week. It introduces proximity chat, multiplayer text chat, emotes, a first-person perspective for building, and over 70 fresh building items.
