The much-anticipated F2P mech-combat title, Steel Hunters, developed by Wargaming, is holding a temporary open test which started… looking at the clock … today. This move is part of the Publisher Weekend event, welcoming any and all users to make use of Steam to access the game or via the dedicated Wargaming Game Center.
The four-day Steel Hunters test concludes on February 24th. Participants will be trialling the updated version of the game, a hybrid of battle royale and extraction elements, with the extra incentive of earning rewards if they reach certain positions in the daily leaderboards. Rewards include Steam gift cards and the chance to obtain a unique Trenchwalker skin permanently.
However, the Publisher Weekend event isn’t exclusively for Steel Hunters. Games like World of Tanks, World of Warships, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Warplanes are also hosting events, each providing chances to bag free cosmetic items, free VIP time, or cash shop deals depending on which game you choose. Some of these discounts will be available until February 27th.
