The enduring free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek Online, is set to commemorate its 15th anniversary with the unveiling of the 33rd season dubbed Unveiled. The update is slated to make its debut on PCs on February 11, 2025, with PlayStation and Xbox gamers expected to receive the console edition on March 11, 2025. This milestone season brings a new storyline episode, anniversary themed events, and adjustments to the game’s lockboxing mechanism.
The season is also packed with star-studded appearances, such as the reprised role of Hugh, the Cooperative Borg Faction Leader by Jonathan Del Arco. Del Arco initially characterised Hugh in Star Trek: The Next Generation, before making appearances in Star Trek: Picard.

- New Episode: Axiom
Players launch a rescue operation in the Delta Quadrant in response to a distress signal from Hugh. This journey leads them to Thaseen-Fei, the leader of Aetherian and his damaged, seemingly deserted vessel. A sinister Borg incursion links to the underlying truth regarding what transpired aboard the Harmony. - 15th-Anniversary Event in Season 33
To mark the significant Star Trek Online’s milestone, players can partake in the 15th Anniversary event which entails completing selected content. In return, they will be rewarded with the Garrett Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser [T6] among other exclusive items. - New “Discovery: Partners In Crime” Lockbox:
This new lockbox takes inspiration from Season 5 of Star Trek: Discovery and includes the Grand Prize Breen Keth Sarr Intel Courier [T6] starship. Extra rewards will be up for grabs via the Lobi Crystal Store.
With an exciting blend of throwback celebrations and fresh quests, Star Trek Online: Unveiled introduces appearances by characters that are a fan favourite, coupled with new content designed to reinforce the game’s bond with the Star Trek universe.
