Star Trek Online implies a new ship bundle with enigmatic teaser images accompanied by a cipher

How can you generate excitement for a forthcoming reveal for Star Trek Online? By providing fans with an enigma, as demonstrated by the MMO’s Twitter account. Over the past few weeks, they have posted three different intriguing teasers that have led to a series of speculation and puzzle-solving among the game’s followers.

The shared graphics seem to employ basic image alteration to allude to preceding titles in the IP’s lineup, specifically Star Trek: Armada, Star Trek: Invasion, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Dominion Wars. They also come with an array of numbers that urge a spelled-out message.

Fanatics on Twitter and on Reddit have been attempting to crack the codes and their consensus is that these are hinting at a new bundle of spacecraft from previous games. Two notably diligent Reddit members have deciphered the word “bundle” from the sequence of digits, with several of the most widely shared hypotheses being that STO will be introducing the Premonition, Typhon and Achilles.

Per the post by senior community manager, Ambassador Kael, the meaning of the codes has been determined by a single individual, so everyone will have to keep guessing along until the official reveal. However, it has provided users with an entertaining alternate reality game for users to engage with.
