Star Trek Online Halloween: Cat’s Tale TFO Features

As Star Trek Online and Neverwinter face potential layoffs towards the month’s end, both MMORPGs ensure gamers that it is business as usual. Star Trek Online’s annual Witching Hour Halloween celebration is currently underway until November 7th, offering ample time for players to earn new rewards.

To receive the main event rewards, players must accumulate 14 days of Daily Progress through the “Cat’s Tale” ground TFO or either of the two “Delving the Castle” ground patrols. Interestingly, the daily timer resets every 20 hours and is not technically a “daily” reset. While the event runs until November 7th, a minimum of 14 days is necessary to secure the main prizes.

So, what are the rewards? One is Beowulf’s Blade, an account-wide melee weapon. This two-handed sword boasts a final move that shatters enemy armor, leaving them susceptible to additional damage. Its third utility, Grendel Slayer, immobilizes a target momentarily by making you leap at them.

Besides the sword, players can claim the Reward Box and a Dilithium Ore combination, though these can only be claimed by one character.

As a further bonus, a Star Trek Discovery reward introduces Grudge, an impressive Maine Coon. Nice!

However, we still await details regarding the commencement of Neverwinter’s much-awaited Masquerade of Liars Halloween event.
