Star Rail Announces Collaboration with Fate/Stay Night and Introduction of Phainon in Version 3.4 ⋆ MMORPGBR

The HoyoVerse recently declared the much-anticipated version 3.4, named Honkai: Star Rail, titled “For the sun is bound to perish,” which was launched on July 2. This significant update contributes abundant content to Pathfinders. The latest sequence in the primary narrative will introduce Phainon as a playable character, alongside a first-time collaboration with FATE/STAY NIGHT [Unlimited Blade Works], which will incorporate the renowned Knowing and Archer characters into the game’s universe. This distinctive collaboration event will commence on July 11.

The storyline witnesses Phainon joining the primary squad amid a crucial plot development. As a native of Aedes Elysiae, Phainon plays a vital role among Chrysos heirs using their “Primordial Flame” ability in combat to reinforce attacks and sustain active allies’ bonuses. In the collaboration event, players engage in a “Holy Grail War” set in Penacony, with seven delegates vying for victory in an entertainment challenge hosted by the Alfafa family. The Knowledge character is illustrated as a wind-type warrior with area attacks, while Archer serves as quantum precision DPS with sequential shifts and reactive triggers.

With version 3.4, aside from the new characters, the game also brings back limited characters such as Tribbie, Sparkle, and Blade. It also introduces complete optimizations for Silver Wolf, Kafka, and other seasoned characters. In terms of gameplay enhancements, the inclusion of a jumping button and revival of the “Origami Bird” mini-game should improve the overall experience. All players that log in during the event will get Archer as a free 5 ★ character, and both the banners and collaboration light cones will be available for an extended period.
