Star Rail 3.4: The Ongoing Flame Chase Drama

This morning, the latest Honkai: Star Rail Special Program broadcast provided players with a glimpse of what to expect in Version 3.4, titled “For the Sun is Set to Die”. This update continues the Trailblazer’s journey in Amphoreus as the Flame Chase Journey appears to be drawing to a close. However, in the world of Star Rail, an action RPG known for its unexpected twists, it seems unlikely that the Trailblazer will allow events to conclude as they seem destined to.

On July 2, the update finally introduces Phainon as a new playable character, and is it just me, or does his ultimate form resemble Nanook a bit? Additionally, enhancements will be made for several characters in the game, mainly affecting the Stellaron Hunters. (Intriguing…) Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jinglu will all see enhancements to their battle mechanics. However, players will have the option to decide whether they wish to utilize these enhancements.

In relation to the Stellaron Hunters, Firefly will also receive some attention, as she debuts a new Spring Missive outfit. (It resembles a schoolgirl outfit.) Her mech will receive a makeover to complement her new attire.

Version 3.4 will also feature a collaboration with Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]. The characters Saber and Archer are set to join the Star Rail universe for a competition on Penacony, alongside some familiar faces from Penacony. This event kicks off on July 11, allowing players to obtain the five-star Archer character for free.
