The Ship Showdown event marks its 6th consecutive year, courtesy of Cloud Imperium Games in Star Citizen. This week-long celebration invites players to spotlight their beloved vessels and vehicles by presenting inventive works based on these ships. A vote subsequently takes place where players choose the top four ships from the presented collection. In-game owners of the selected ships are awarded a limited-edition ship pigment and a manufacturer’s poster.
The polls open today and continue until August 22. Throughout this period, enthusiasts keen on exploring the space MMORPG for themselves have the opportunity to do so, free of charge. In addition, newcomers are granted access to the sixteen ships presented in the Showdown event. To join the free weekend, aspiring players can register at the game’s website.
