Soulframe Preludes 7 Resets Account and Overhauls Combat System

As part of the lead-up to Soulframe‘s Prelude 7, the latest Soulshorts video reveals that Digital Extremes is planning an account reset. This decision has been justified with a number of reasons, one of which is the reworking of some of the MMO features. One of the challenges for players is that they will need to re-rank their weapons. However, the introduction of five new weapons offers something to look forward to.

The weapon ranking system affords players a skill point per rank. These points apply to weapon categories, meaning any points assigned to a specific sword type will extend to all swords in that category.

Significant segments of the Soulshorts video focus on gameplay adjustments, specifically to the combat aspect. This encompasses changes to movement, cooldowns, a new stagger system, and more, inclusive of an enchanted butterfly bow. The video also shines a light on aesthetic modifications.
