As the Oct 28th release date of the Horizons update is looming, Albion Online has begun revealing key features about an array of new elements that will enhance the MMORPG experience. Our previous coverage on their Dev Talk video holds insights on the unpredictability element Sandbox Interactive is keen on incorporating.
The team has released a new Dev Talk video shedding light on the other side of the Horizons update, the Quality-of-Life features. It is being speculated that several updates, especially related to inventory management and banking might swoop in major appreciation.
Improved bag management will allow users to shrink their view to a neat and orderly small pane. The availability of custom display size for inventory symbols and the option to organize items based on weight is aimed at ease of usage.
Banking will also become a breeze where users will have the option to quickly move all the items to the bank, another bank tab or back to the bag. A “repair all” option within your bank is also on the cards.
Preset options that can be saved and bound to a key for quick swapping is another feature to look forward to.
However, the star of the update is likely to be the changes being brought to the HUD. Users will now have the ability to customize, move around and adjust the size of their UI elements. The capability to adjust position, size and opacity of HUD components and save layouts will improve overall gameplay experience. Presets for quick swapping and the option to import and export HUD layouts will only make this feature more exciting.
