Solo MMO (yes) Erenshor is due for a major overhaul on September 26 with Call of the Storm

Solo MMO Erenshor Gets a Major Overhaul on September 26 with Call of the Storm Expansion

For gamers who’ve ever fantasized about diving into EverQuest without dealing with other players, Erenshor offers that solitary “MMO” experience—complete with eerily convincing AI companions. This single-player homage to classic MMOs is about to expand significantly with its Call of the Storm Patch, arriving September 26.

“Burgee Media is thrilled to unveil a transformative update for Erenshor, reinforcing its identity as a meticulously crafted solo-MMO,” the announcement states. “This patch revolutionizes combat, class systems, and world design while deepening immersion through UI improvements and larger party capacities.”

Key highlights include rebalanced spells and combat mechanics, revamped zones like the new Willowwatch area, redesigned class roles, overhauls for Paladin and Duelist classes, and increased party limits (now supporting five AI members). The update also debuts the Stormcaller, a bow-wielding spellcaster hybrid teased as the game’s first “spellbow” archetype.
