Today, an announcement was made by Crytek regarding a forthcoming event for Hunt: Showdown 1896. This event, labelled as The Garden of the Witch, marks the first event of 2025 in the extraction shooter game brings together cursed nature and Corrupted metal. The Bruja duo and Welders will struggle against the Corruption; it remains to be seen if organic mysticism or industrial occult methodologies and fire are victorious.
During this event, players are able to accumulate points and marks of pledge, but the structure is slightly different. Instead of pledging to a Pact or Troupe, players will receive Sealed Trait Rewards from previous events. The event will also introduce a set of traits exclusive to the Garden of the Witch.
Besides the new event, Hunt: Showdown 1896 has undergone a series of changes with the Update 2.3. Changes include modifications to stealth mechanics, recruitment revamp, among other enhancements.
