Riot Launches Closed Beta for League of Legends Fighting Game 2XKO Featuring Champion Vi

Riot Games has announced the global launch of the 2XKO Closed Beta, set to kick off on September 9 for PC users.

This marks the first time this upcoming free-to-play fighting game will remain live continuously, aside from necessary maintenance periods. The beta phase will eventually support cross-platform play, allowing players to transfer their progress to consoles after their release.

Interested players can register for the beta via the official site. Those who took part in Alpha Lab 1 or 2 on PC — or previous console tests — will automatically receive access through the Riot Client.

The beta will also feature a new champion: Vi, the Piltover Enforcer, who brings her powerful hextech gauntlets to the arena. Players can use her in the beta and at Evo 2025, where 2XKO will have a booth that includes demos, livestreams, and giveaways from August 1 to 3.

For those who may not know, 2XKO showcases characters from the League of Legends universe. Currently, the roster includes Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, and Yasuo, along with the newly revealed Vi.
