Quinfall’s latest patch improves chances of getting better gear, adds AI-assisted chat translations

Quinfall’s Latest Patch Enhances Gear Acquisition and Introduces AI-Powered Chat Translations

Who would like a Google Translate-style AI bot to try to make sense of what people using other languages in Quinfall? Well that’s part of what you’re getting in the sandbox’s latest update, as Vawraek Technologies has introduced “an automatic AI-supported in-game chat translation system” that’s turned on by default. Ideally this will help with communication instead of lead to mixed messages or unintentional comedy, but players can turn the option off if they choose to.

Naturally there is much more to the patch, including the headlining feature of improved chances to get high-quality equipment from various sources: Specifically there’s a 60% increase from production workbenches, a 60% increase from dungeon bosses, a 90% increase from dungeon treasure rooms, and a 130% increase from normal treasure rooms. It’s a veritable loot shower in there.

The majority of the patch otherwise applies bug fixes to a wide assortment of things like naming errors in certain skill chains, display of rental durations for houses and farms, cannon collision issues, and a respawn bug that saw characters wake up in snowy areas or swamps after dying in port locations; we presume this was indeed a bug and not a reference to a very tired meme.
