The sandbox MMORPG The Quinfall’s early access inception seems to be greeted quite negatively, as per Steam reviews and responses to server problems. This ambitious game by Vawraek Technologies hasn’t quite impressed its first players.
Connection issues were brought to light by the studio almost instantaneously after release and accompanied by an extensive yet perplexing apology to gamers. These issues continued over the weekend, in addition to problems concerning loot drops from monsters necessitating several server restarts across all regions. The most recent issues appear to be related to inconsistent cash shop currency amounts.
Despite attempts to resolve these cascade of issues, the anger among the playerbase doesn’t seem to be relenting. The game’s complaints forum abounds with reports of disconnections, overpowered potions in PvP, UI bugs, among other things. Furthermore, Steam reviews of the game are quite critical and highlight poor performance, numerous bugs, connectivity issues, and a cash shop offering Unity store assets at a price higher than what the developers paid. Moreover, the concurrent player count peaked at over 6,000 but has since declined to half over the past 24 hours.
