Amid IGN Live 2025, the Netmarble officially unveiled Project Evilbane— a new co-op action RPG based in the universe of the respected Raven franchise under the company. Development by Netmarble Monster using the Unreal Engine 5, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with demons, promising thrilling combat and a gripping mature storyline.

The game, Project Evilbane, will allow co-op missions for up to four players. Each battle against the evil king’s minions will impact the game universe directly. As per the developers, this system provides dynamic progression where each action influences the global community, promoting player collaboration. The game will have a clear role structure setting characters in attack, defense, and support roles.

The gameplay trailer shown at the event implies a focus on swift and responsive third -person RPG style battles, with a blend of melee and ranged special attacks. Players will be capable of evading, blocking, retaliating, and performing fluid, cinematic finishing moves. It seems Project Evilbane aims to succeed Raven in being an original by heightening the combat and narrative standards set by the 2015 classic. For more details, see the Official Game Site.
