Once Human readies its mobile launch and new patch that adds bike tricks and capybara beans April 23

Once Human Prepares for Mobile Launch and New Patch Featuring Bike Tricks and Capybara Beans on April 23

We assure you that the new features being added to Once Human on Wednesday, April 23rd, might not always make sense, but they are definitely real and will be available in the survival game after the patch goes live. There are even patch notes to back this up.

One of the highlights of the patch is a brand-new bicycle mount that allows players to traverse the game’s expansive maps while performing impressive stunts. Whether you’re spinning or flipping solo or pulling off collaborative tricks in multiplayer, these moves are truly something to behold.

Another quirky addition is what NetEase’s Starry Studio refers to as “capybara beans.” The studio explains, “Everyone’s favorite capybaras now carry mysterious jelly beans, each hiding a surprise! Whether they’re tame or wild, capybaras will occasionally drop these beans while idle. Give them a try to uncover their unique effects.” However, we should note that the capybara in the accompanying animated gif doesn’t exactly look idle—it seems to be in motion. But surely, experimenting with these shiny capybara leftovers won’t lead to any trouble. After all, coconut dogs are friend-shaped.

Another major update is the official launch of Once Human on mobile devices, complete with cross-platform play. Starry has even shared an instructional graphic to explain how crossplay works and how players can enjoy their capybara beans seamlessly on both PC and mobile.

The patch also introduces a team lobby feature designed to make squad formation easier, several new events and rewards, including bonuses for logging in on both PC and mobile platforms, and a variety of fixes and general gameplay improvements.
