Old School RuneScape introduces an engaging new event, “Grid Master,” lasting four weeks. This unique event reimagines the gameplay of the free-to-play MMORPG with a bingo-style mode that combines competitive elements, strategic decision-making, and a touch of nostalgia. Running from October 15th to November 12th, the single-player event presents players with in-game tasks laid out on a 7×7 grid, unlocking various rewards as they progress through boss encounters, skill challenges, and speed-running objectives.
Taking cues from popular community-created modes like Clan Bingo and Leagues, Grid Master delivers a harmonious blend of approachability and strategic depth. Players can approach the challenges at their own speed and in their preferred order. Successfully completing squares on the grid grants boosted XP and Grid Points, which can be exchanged for exclusive cosmetic rewards, including the coveted Grid Tabard, Login Screen Chapel Cosmetics, and the impressive Grid Swords & Emblem.
Accessible to both members and free-to-play players, the event grants everyone boosted XP rates, unique relics, and the opportunity to obtain limited-edition rewards. Furthermore, the first three players to achieve complete grid mastery will have the distinctive privilege of designing a relic for the upcoming Leagues event.
