Odin: Valhalla Rising to have Global Launch on Android and iOS This Year

Having achieved over 17 million downloads in Asia, Odin: Valhalla Rising, the MMORPG based on Norse mythology by Kakao Games, is now set for a global release. The game, already successful in South Korea, will be available for Android, iOS, and PC later this year.

Pre-registration will begin on April 3rd, allowing players to reserve their character names and servers in advance. Kakao Games has also released a new trailer, showcasing the impressive visuals and the game’s massive world.

Norse mythology in a next-generation MMORPG

In Odin: Valhalla Rising, players will get to explore four out of the nine realms of Norse mythology: Midgard, Jotunheim, Nidavellir and Alfheim. The game offers an enormous, loading screen-free world, with free exploration through land and sky, climbing mountains, battles against mythical creatures, and a hunt for hidden treasure.

The class system will feature four options at launch: Warrior, Wizard, Priest, and Rogue, so players can choose a combat style that best suits their preferences.
