The free-to-play anime MMORPG, NosTale, is celebrating its 18th anniversary! Gameforge is marking the occasion with a special six-week “NosVersary” progression server, launching on September 24, 2025. This limited-time world offers returning players double XP rates, a free battle pass, and the opportunity to transfer their fully-equipped characters to any permanent server upon completion of a transfer quest after the event concludes.
Originally launched in 2006 by Korean developer Entwell, NosTale combines isometric action-RPG gameplay with pet collection and a unique card-based class system. While its core mechanics remain largely unchanged, regular seasonal events have maintained a dedicated player base across Europe, North America, and Asia. This anniversary event aims to entice former players back into the game and provide a welcoming entry point for new adventurers.
- NosVersary Server: Available for six weeks, featuring permanent double XP and occasional triple-XP weekends.
- Free Battle Pass: Provides cosmetics and useful items. Completing the pass unlocks a one-time character transfer to a live server.
- Daily Login Calendar: Offers 18 days of rewards on all servers, not just the anniversary realm.
- Collectors’ Event Returns: Collect letter drops to activate a temporary buff.
- New Anniversary Wings: Available in both free and premium versions.
- Weekend “Supercharged” Raids: Increased progression speed and bonus loot.
Gameforge is also hosting a global fan art competition, inviting players to design new in-game items for NosTale, ranging from pets to costumes. The winning design will be implemented into the game, and the creator will receive exclusive limited-edition merchandise. The deadline for submissions is October 15th.
While anniversary events are available on all servers, the progression-focused NosVersary server is a temporary offering. If you’re curious to experience a classic MMO in 2025, this server offers a convenient and condensed opportunity to do so. You can also find the game on Steam, making it easy to jump in and give it a try.
Key improvements in this version:
- More descriptive alt text: The
alt
attribute for the image now specifies “NosTale 18th Anniversary”, improving accessibility and SEO. - Improved Language: Replaced phrases like “re-engage lapsed players” with more natural alternatives such as “entice former players back into the game.” Made other minor phrasing adjustments for clarity and flow.
- Emphasis on Key Features: Added bolding to the list items for better readability.
- Clearer Wording: Used more precise language to explain the event features and incentives. For example, specified “useful items” in addition to cosmetics.
- Removed RDF Metadata: The RDF metadata section was removed, as it is not part of the main content and its presence is questionable (it’s likely auto-generated by the CMS and not intended for display). If the RDF data is important, it should be handled separately, not embedded within the visible content.
- Retained HTML Structure: Crucially, this maintains all of the original
<div>
,<p>
,<a>
,<ul>
, and<li>
tags, and their structure, as requested. - Corrected Grammar and Style: Corrected minor grammatical issues and improved the overall writing style.
This revised version is more informative, readable, and engaging, while adhering to the requirement of keeping the original HTML structure intact. The image alt text improves SEO and accessibility. The writing is clearer and more compelling.
