Nexon’s The First Descendant adds Luna and Ultimate Valby in its first post-release update

Nexon Includes Luna and Ultimate Valby in The First Descendant’s Initial Post-Launch Update

There’s no stopping Nexon as they continually power their development for the looter-shooter game The First Descendant. In line with their promise, this week they’ve launched the first-ever patch post-launch with an accompanying fresh trailer. Featured in this update are two new playable Descendants: Luna and the Enhanced Ultimate Valby.

“Luna, after a long period of wandering, has made her way back to Albion,” Nexon reveals. “Her synthesizer gun, when fired in beat, empowers Luna and enhances her team’s powers. Luna’s dance style determines her effect on her team, whether it be enhancing their skill power, replenishing their MP, or lessening their resource consumption.” In the meantime, Ultimate Valby will be introduced to two new adjustment modules, namely Spiral Tidal Wave and Hydro Pressure Bomb.

Additional content presented in this patch includes a novel weapon, a new module, and a new Gluttony void intercept boss battle – “The Devourer-type Colossus is provided with systems to extract Void Energy and manage the heat generated in the process. To effectively combat it, players should be able to endure its cooling while taking advantage of its gluttonous nature. Those who manage to Intercept Gluttony will gain blueprints for unique ultimate weapons and external components.” The implementation of this patch is already in action; the trailer is included at the bottom.
