New Quests, Features, and Steam Deck Support Included in 2.5 Update of Wuthering Waves Version

Kuro Games, the company behind Wuthering Waves, an open-world action RPG, has announced the specifics for its imminent 2.5 update labeled as Unfading Melody of Life. The upgraded version would go live on July 24 on all platforms, introducing a plethora of new features and enhancements. Important to note, Wuthering Waves can now be played on Steam Deck, offering additional ways for fans to interact with the game. Already, the game garners over 10,000 concurrent users on Steam alone.

The first launch of Wuthering Waves in 2024 saw a steady rise in its popularity, courtesy of its exciting exploration options, swift combat, and its unique setting of post-apocalyptic sci-fi. The completely free game continually keeps its players engaged with regular content updates, new events, and storylines. Staying true to its tradition, the newest update also adds fresh gameplay components, a unique main quest, and several enhancements to improve players’ experience.

• New Location: Fabricatorium of the Deep
• New Echoes: Reminiscence: Fenrico, Nightmare: Hecate, Tambourinist, Galcio Predator, and Havoc Warrior
• New Phantom Echo: Nightmare Inferno Rider
• New Sonata Effect: Dream of the Lost (adding critical rate and Echo Skill DMG bonuses when specific set conditions are met)
• Echo Management Enhancements: Auto-Lock and Auto-Discard plans for simpler inventory management
• Sync Tuning: More efficient Echo upgrades through automatic Tuner addition
• Expanded Preset Teams: Up to 10 preset teams now possible
• Skill Music Toggle: Choice to enable or disable Resonator skill background music for specific characters
• New Resonator: Introduction of Phrolova and new featured Resonator gatherings
• New Weapon: Introduction of Lethean Elegy and additional featured weapon gatherings
