Details regarding RF Project, a mobile and PC MMORPG created from the original sci-fi PC game, came to light once again after the previous update in January 2022. At the recent developers’ meet-up during the annual GDC (Game Developers Conference), Netmarble’s management team was in attendance to discuss their latest projects with a primary focus on their Marblex 2.0 blockchain platform. From the presentation and highlighted slide shown below, it’s now apparent that RF Project will secure its footing as a blockchain/Web3/Play-To-Earn title.
The crux of the discussion emphasised on topics such as revenue generation via Web3 games, player ownership of digital assets, gaming tokens and so forth, the common dialogues surrounding digital ownership. It also pointed out how Marblex aims to stand apart from and revolutionize the Web3 gaming domain. More information on these can be referred to from the slides given below.
